Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

The Production Coordinator will serve to assist the production team with pre-production, production, and distribution of Exactly Right podcasts and management of Exactly Right Studio facilities.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director, Production.

Job duties include:

  • Assist with production for assigned shows including pre-production, research, in-studio and remote recordings, post-production, show promotion and publication.

  • Facilitate collaboration with internal teams including project management, marketing, operations, legal, launch, advertising, and production of network podcasts and videos.

  • Oversee company calendars, grids, and inboxes with intense precision.

  • Create research packets and episode prep.

  • Quality check episodes with high attention to detail, to ensure they meet network standards and pass legal clearances.

  • Assist with tracking releases, guest promotional assets, and in-studio guest scheduling.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with key talent, representatives, and listeners.

  • Provide desk coverage for executives when needed, including scheduling of meetings and recordings.

  • Contribute fresh ideas to keep content exciting and innovative, including suggestions of themes, stories, and content for upcoming episodes and social media content.

  • Produce social media content, including audiograms, graphics, and video content to support podcast promotion.

  • Communicate regularly and in a timely manner with the senior production team throughout the production process to help all stakeholders and projects meet their full potential.

  • Be available to cover for team members last minute.

  • This position is expected to be on-site on a daily basis.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years related work experience working with high level talent preferred.

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the podcasting medium.

  • A demonstrated passion for comedy and/or true crime is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Hands-on production experience.

  • Ability to maintain a high attention to detail and meet all deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new digital formats and technologies.

  • Low ego, solutions-oriented team player.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and at ease with people from different cultural and educational backgrounds.

 

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment, in-person

  • May be required to work weekend and/or non-standard hours 

  • Minimal travel may be required

 

Salary:

Listed salary range is approximate. Final salary will be determined commensurate with experience.
